Janis Joplin Episode 10: Cry Baby, Angels and Devils, and Playing for the Cheap Seats

Janis’ relationship with the Hell’s Angels continues to sour. A violent altercation erupts during a show she’s headlining for the San Rafael chapter of the infamous motorcycle gang. Tensions run high at her sold-out shows in cities like Cambridge, Massachusetts, where stories of rock concert riots throughout the country make everyone nervous. And no one is more nervous than Paul Rothchild.
